26 Weeks!

26 Weeks!
(As always, Please ignore my face )

Total weight gain/loss:+16 by the doctor's scale

Maternity clothes? Pretty much maternity all around except for a few tank tops and my workout pants. And for real, I must be the only preggo in the world who HATES panel pants!

Stretch marks? Nope, not yet

Sleep: On and off. Some good nights and some not so good.

Best moment this week: Not baby related but realizing I get to go to Ky in less than 2 weeks!

Movement:He likes to ball up, wiggle to a new spot, and then ball up again- said balling up isn't the most comfortable feeling...

Food cravings: Fruit and meat. Not together.

Gender: BOY!

Labor Signs:Absolutely not!

Belly Button in or out? Stretching/ flattening out. If I try and stretch it more, it starts turning into an outtie!

Wedding rings on or off? I don't where them at the gym but other than that, still wearing them as usual.

What I miss: Not feeling HUGE.

What I am looking forward to: 3D/4D Ultrasound in just over 2 weeks!

Weekly Wisdom: Don't wish the short and sweet moments of pregnancy away

Milestones: I do believe I have just hit or am about to officially hit the Third Trimester!

We baby sat an infant over night this past weekend, and let me tell you, most people my age would say, "That was interesting! I am sooooo not ready." In all honesty, though, I am sooooo ready. It just confirmed how much I can't wait for my sweet boy to arrive. And seeing Gerrit holding her and trying to get her to sleep, no matter how uncomfortable a position it put him in, just absolutely melted my heart. He will absolutely be a fantastic dad, of that I have no doubt. Sadly, he will be leaving on a short deployment in the VERY near future- Gerrit, not the baby. I will miss him oh so much and hate for him to miss out on so much of my third trimester. Hopefully my trip back to Ky will help to pass the time and get my mind off of missin' him so dang much!

24 -25 Weeks

24/25 Weeks!
(Won't be doing a second post this week and missed the last few...)
Total weight gain/loss: At 24w5d, the verdict is +16...

Maternity clothes? Basically all maternity except for a few regular shirts

Stretch marks? Nope, not yet

Sleep:Waking up 2 or 3 times to pee and starting to find it hard to get comfy

Best moment this week: Finding out all the anatomy scan results were normal.

Movement: Lots of wiggling and kicking; he always gets a big burst of energy right before bed.

Food cravings: Nothing really in particular actually.

Gender:BOY!

Labor Signs:Absolutely not!

Belly Button in or out? Stretching/ flattening out. If I try and stretch it more, it starts turning into an outtie!

Wedding rings on or off? I don't where them at the gym but other than that, still wearing them as usual.

What I miss: Being my normal flexible self- pregnant woman are not meant to twist whatsoever!

What I am looking forward to: Is it too early to say "meeting my little man"?

Weekly Wisdom: Don't wish the short and sweet moments of pregnancy away

Milestones: Great/normal results on the anatomy scan!

We took a trip to Stone Henge and Bath this past weekend. It was fun but the walking everywhere was a struggle. I ached so much- feet, back, legs- and I'm still sore. It was quite frustrating. It was a good trip aside from that though. The picture above was taken at the Roman Baths. You get the idea of how big the belly is getting.

Today I haven't quite felt oh so fantastic due to getting up early, funny eating habits, etc that comes along with travel. Oh, and did you have to see the weight gain??? Yeah... having some personal issues with that. But as long as Mr CCS is happy and healthy, that's all that matters.

We're Having A.....

We're having a little BOY! I know, I've been slacking and keeping you in suspense. I have to admit, I rather enjoyed keeping it a secret and you guys dying to know! We went out and bought some little boy stuff on Saturday, all on sale, of course. But as for the name, I shall keep you in suspense a little bit longer if I haven't already told you personally.  ;)
